This is easier said than done, but thanks to our guide on how to get rid of large pores on face, this cosmetic nightmare should become less and less present in your life.

There are a lot of causes that make those large pores appear on your face. Some of them include unprotected sun exposure that affects the skin, aging, an excessive production of oil and finally, genetics because yes, large pores can also be inherited. As for how to get rid of them completely, that is not possible. They are part of your skin and you can only ameliorate the problem, not make them disappear as if by magic. And while there are several expensive cosmetic products on the market that promise to solve this problem, there are also some more accessible and natural remedies. Here are some of them!

1.      Exfoliate properly

The best and first thing that you can do to reduce the size of the pores on your face is exfoliate properly. You need to do this regularly while focusing on the parts of your face that have more pores. You need to do this to get rid of the dead skin cells that in time make the pores appear even larger. It’s the best prevention method. You can find exfoliating products on the market or you can do one at home. A nice recipe is the one containing grounded almonds and grounded orange dry peel.

2.      Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a natural astringent that helps tighten the skin and therefore, the pores. It also removes the oils on your face, helping with the prevention of blackheads and whiteheads, and restores the natural pH of your skin. Moreover, its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties make it a very nice remedy against acne or simple pimples. However, be careful to mix it with water because it can be pretty concentrated by itself. Then, using a cotton ball, gently rub your entire face, focusing on the problem areas. Leave it on for a few minutes and rinse it off with cool water. Do this every night for a few weeks.

3.      Egg white face mask

Another natural remedy for tightening these large pores on the face is a mask made out of an egg white and lemon juice. While the egg white draws the excess grease out of the skin, in combination with the lemon juice it helps toning up the skin and therefore shrinks these large pores. Mix 2 egg whites with fresh lemon juice squeezed from ½ of a lemon. Apply it on your entire face and leave it to dry out completely. Rinse it off with lukewarm water and repeat this routine a few times a week.
