“I’ve used this kit several times now to wax my “upper lip” and feel that I can definitely recommend it for the DIYers who want to save some money and perform this chore at home…The wax, of course, can be rather messy; however, doing such a small area is easier and less messy than trying to wax large areas like the legs (I’m not as brave as other reviewers!). I find that wiping the rim of the wax container with the included cleansing towelette and coating with a bit of petroleum jelly before screwing the top back on makes it easier to remove the top later, after the wax has cooled. The cleansing towelettes work great to soothe and clean the facial area that was waxed, and the redness goes away in a couple of hours (about the same amount of time it took when I had it done professionally). All in all, a good product.”

“This wax is super heavy duty. It removed all the hair that other waxes could not. The only thing that was horrible about this product is that it does not come off with water. It sticks to your skin really bad no matter how much you try to take it. The only way I was able to remove it was with coconut oil, Once I applied the coconut oil onto the affected area it began to rub off instantly. I wish I had known that before I tried taking it off with rubbing alcohol OUCH!!!! Try not using near carpet, towels, and clothing otherwise you will have a HARD time removing the wax.”

“Also, I will say that if you have sensitive skin like mine, make sure you do the waxing 2 or 3 days before you go tanning, if you are going to a special occasion, getting married, vacation, etc. so that you can give yourself time for the redness to go away/heal.
