Although breakfast is the most important meal of the day, many people tend to skip it saying they don’t have the time. They usually grab a granola bar and out the door to the office they go. Smoothies are fast but not as filling as something that takes a little longer, like eggs and bacon. However, you can add different things to your smoothie to help fill you up, getting enough protein, so you are satisfied until lunchtime comes around. Add Your Favorite Nut Butter

Just one scoop of nut butter is all you need to add a better taste to your smoothie, fill you up, and give you the protein you need for the exergy you need to get through the day.

You can sprinkle a few of them into your smoothie or stir them in, or you can add them and blend them into your smoothie. Tofu is full of protein and will make your smoothie instantly more filling, giving you the energy you need to go through your day without feeling hungry and tired. The good thing about it too is that it has a neutral taste to it and you might not even notice it in your smoothie because of this. You can add about one cup of crumbled tofu to your smoothie and blend it in. Then, check the consistency of it and add more if needed. Tofu is also useful for making your smoothie thicker if you like them like that.
Add Greek Yogurt
Add some plain, high-fat Greek yogurt to your smoothie. You will want plain Greek yogurt because you will want the fruit of the smoothie to be the primary flavor and high in fat because it will help you stay fuller for a more extended amount of time. Add a Little Bit of Fat
The best kind of fat you can add to your smoothie is coconut oil. By adding this kind of fat, you won’t be wondering how much longer it is until lunch by 10 am. The thing about coconut oil is that it can add a little more sweetness to your smoothie, making it taste better too.
Add Some Protein Powder
By adding your favorite flavored protein powder to your smoothie, it will not only taste better, but it will help keep you filled up all throughout the day. Add Some Sunflower Seeds
Adding sunflower seeds might not give you as much protein as the rest of these ingredients, but they come with a very mild flavor and are an excellent source of Vitamin E, which is good for the skin and your hormones.
By making smoothies, you are already choosing the right choice. However, once you add some of these ingredients to your smoothie, you will not only help make it taste better, but you will be drinking an even healthier smoothie that will keep you full all day.
